About the role: 

MSS Security is looking forArea Managers in Security for permanent full-timeroles covering Melbourne and surrounding areas. This role will see you working with one of our esteemed clients Homes Victoria to deliver quality services by acting as a client liaison,  and managing a team of Security Guards.

Reporting into Client Services Business Manager, you will be accountable for driving performance and ensuring staff engagement across multiple client sites on a day and/or night basis. Your in this role willinclude, but not limited to:Line management of staff 

  • Contractual and procedural compliance 

  • Quality Assurance 

  • Customer liaison 

  • Incident investigation and analysis 

  • Management of customer complaints 

  • Driving performance 

  • Continuous improvement and innovation 


What we are looking for: 

  • Victorian Security licence and control room licence 

  • Cert II or higher in security operations  

  • Prior experience of line management of staff in complex environments 

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written Sound knowledge ofand demonstrated experience in operational security Ability to resolve conflicts and risk management  

  • Willing to travel between sites and head office in Port Melbourne 

  • Well-organised and initiative-taking with the ability to prioritise in a face paced environment.Full Australian working rights 

  • Be willing to undergo a National Police check.
